Day 5 - News
I was messaging my sister on Instagram today and we were talking about how the pandemic has turned life for better. Like for example there have been bird sightings everywhere and they are roaming freely. Not to mention the dolphins which have reappeared in Italy, the ducks that are walking on an air strip. She also showed me the future images of Paris where the Eiffel Tower was just a part of the forest. I was also telling her how the crows were nowhere to be found. I find it very surprising to not see them at all, not even a single one and also to add the street dogs have gone silent. Do they exist or have they been wiped off from this planet during the pandemic?
My dad was talking to me today, that there will be internet cuts in the coming few days. If that were to happen, we will be completely cut off from knowing what’s happening around us and we need to stick to the age old system of landlines and honestly not many of them have it any more. But the worst hit will be the people who are relying on the streaming application like Netflix, Amazon Prime, HotStar and other things. They would go mentally retard not able to cope up if such a thing was to occur.
It’s been 2 weeks since we have been self quarantined and 5 days since we have been on lockdown. The news about what’s happening around the world is been cut off. It’s been 4 days since I read the newspaper and all of my social media accounts show me information around my State and about India only. There is very few news about the rest of the world and only available option for me is to stick to the Television and watch world news there. Many of my friends tell me that all our accounts are being tracked and monitored to see what is being shared. It would be shocking to know if it were true.
One of my friend shared me an article pointing fingers at the Chinese for the pandemic. The article went on to say that it was developed to silence the protest of the labour workers and subsequently bring them in control. How scary can this get. A biological weapon to silence the people who revolt against the society. Just imagine this biological weapon that is used to create global panic and bring down the world economy. At this rate I will not be surprised to see ourselves go back to Stone Age.
Lot of nations suffered during the last few years, there was problems with European Union, the UK had trouble with Brexit, the Trump’s Government had failed to create a better administration. In India especially there have been protests against the Central Government’s decisions and new policies, the economy was falling and IMF was alerting all through. So was COVID19 the biological weapon that was used to neutralize things, bring the economy to stand still and stop protests everywhere across the globe ? It is something we all need to start thinking.
